Generally, the place was delightful and had wonderful staff who would have given us a fan on request. Marvellous location in the restaurant which was deserted made it easy to get to key attractions. Moreover, it was very close to Retford centre and the beautiful gardens.

The units are immaculate and quiet with a very comfortable bed. They have an electronic key card, a work desk, and multi-channel television. the location is central, right by the family- and town centre, and Lincolnshire.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, from the warm welcome from Tracey at reception, engaging banter from the lovely Operations Manager Craig, to the talented chef Adam who cooked us a delicious supper. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet when we needed a good night's sleep. Lovely grounds around the hotel to relax in. They were preparing for a wedding, and it seemed to us that the lucky couple would have a great day and be well looked after! Would also be a good spot for a business away day or conference.
Unfortunately, there was not enough hot water for a hot shower in the evening after supper, or before breakfast. And breakfast, clearly not cooked by the same chef as the evening, was very disappointing after setting such a high standard. That aside, we left with an overall good feeling about our visit.

I thought it had a very warm friendly, clean comfortable atmosphere,I was very contented, also important felt safe.
Only one thing..i only ordered food on one night into the room..got a baked potato with prawns and mayonnaise..I Said "please don't give me much mayonnaise as I don't like it...When I got the meal......it was huge amount of prawn covered it seemed in a bottle of mayonnaise...obviously pre mixed..I Realize that some of these style of food may be what the locals like..but I found the meal very unappealing..NOT VEry well presented on the plate. And the potato ..I understand..was very ..pre cooked and ..generally I think it was Not an appealing meal in taste or in presentIon. Had no problem about the breakfast food ..I think it was quite adequate and nice

The location of the hotel is convenient as it is situated in a nice area of the town. The interior design is modern and the breakfast was fresh and satisfying. They even offered gluten-free toast which was well-cooked.
